The Intermediate level of 2-D Design expands on the Studio 1 class. Instead of simple representation,
the students are encouraged to find their “artistic voice.” A variety of projects have been designed to
allow the students to be more expressive, not only in terms of technique, but content as well. Since
the course is tailored more toward the individual, the time frames of each project are subject to
change. In addition to their studio work, the students are required to participate in a survey of 19 th
and 20th Century art history. Students will compile this information as well as an online portfolio into
their artist website.
STUDENTS MUST HAVE A JUMP DRIVE OR MEMORY CARD. MINIMUM OF 2G SPACE.
