Entries will be accepted in the Progress Building between the hours of 7:00pm – 9:00pm on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 ONLY. NO ENTRIES AFTER 9:00pm – NO ENTRIES ON FRIDAY. 2. A completed Fair entry form will be required, including the name of the entrant, address, phone number and school when registering. This form will be retained by the School Fair Committee. 3. If the entrant does not attend West Nissouri Public School, please indicate on the entry form the best way to ensure delivery of prize money (i.e. Grandparent lives locally – please include their address and phone #). 4. Entries must be picked up on Sunday, September 25th, 2015 between 4:30pm – 5:30pm. The School Fair Committee cannot be held responsible for entries not claimed. 5. Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-up will be the ones with the highest points in the School Fair classes, excluding School Fair Animals. These children will receive their awards during the Friday night program and will ride in the parade on Saturday. 6. The School Fair Committee encourages parents to support the projects, but allow the children to exhibit their own creative talents. 7. A School Fair Agricultural Award will be presented to the student (JK – Grade 5) with the highest total points in Agricultural Sections A, B, and C (excluding School Fair Animals). The School Fair Committee encourages the children to assist in bringing in their own entries if possible. ENTRANTS MUST register at the table in the School Fair Section on Thursday September 22nd, 2016. All exhibitors must be in the specified grade as of September 2016 (Preschool– Grade 5) All exhibits must be first time showing – anything determined to be from previous years, soiled, or defaced will be disqualified. All articles must be properly labeled with an entry tag, showing the entrant’s name and the name of their school, and placed in the proper sections, or they will not be judged. Only one item per person per section. Each entry must be the individual’s own effort. All agricultural and horticultural entries must be grown on the exhibitor’s property and displayed/arranged by the exhibitor unless otherwise noted. Wildflowers and plants are the exception. Preschool and Junior Kindergarten sections will NOT be judged. However, Preschoolers and Junior Kindergarten entrants may also show in the OPEN and AGRICULTURAL sections. Entries by Preschool and Junior Kindergarten entrants in the OPEN and AGRICULTURAL sections will be judged. Please Note: – – Entry tags will be available in several Thorndale businesses/locations (i.e. Library) prior to the fair or from the Secretary’s office on Thursday night.
