Research Administration Forum Changes to NSF & NIH Proposal Submission and Award Documents December 8, 2015 National Science Foundation • New Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) • Effective for proposals submitted on or after January 25, 2016 NSF-Significant Changes - PPG • No proposals accepted by Fastlane after 5 p.m. local time • Certifications now include Dual Use Research of Concern • Collaborators & Other Affiliations – new Single Copy Document – No longer part of biosketch – No need to identify the number of collaborators/affiliations • Biosketch – Upload biosketches separately for all Senior/Key Personnel (except for Other Personnel & Equipment Proposals) • Current & Pending – Upload separately for all Senior/Key Personnel; including internal funds • Solicitations no longer may specify different type size, margin or spacing requirements.
