Mr. Jaime Cabangis is currently the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Cebu Air, Inc. (Cebu Pacific), and concurrently the Business Unit Head of Itech Global Business Solutions, Inc., the BPO arm of the JG Summit Group of Companies. He used to be the CFO of Digital Telecommunications Phils., Inc. and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (Sun Cellular) and URC International, Inc. Prior to that he was the President and CEO of Asia Amalgamated Holdings, Corporation, and CFO of Uniwide Holdings, Inc. Jimmy was a Partner of SGV & Co., where he started his career and worked for more than 20 years. Jimmy completed his Master in Business Management as an SGV scholar at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and his Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Accounting at the MLQU University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He attended Advance Management courses at the Arthur Andersen Center for Professional Development in Chicago, Illinois and completed a 12-month Job Training at the Dallas, Texas Office of Arthur Andersen. Jimmy’s work exposure and background are in the fields of strategic planning, corporate planning, corporate finance, treasury, comptrollership, audit, taxation, corporate legal, risk management, information technology, revenue assurance, cost management, management information system, business development, and investor relations, among others. A Certified Public Accountant, Jimmy was formerly the President of the Philippines Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Southern Metro Manila Chapter. He is currently a member of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), Financial Executives Association of the Philippines (FINEX) and the AIM Alumni Association wherein he was a past board member and treasurer. Jimmy was born and raised in Manila. He is married to Elizabeth Garcia, a registered nurse from Olongapo City, Zambales; and blessed with three kids, son Michael, a computer science graduate and working at Questronix, Inc. in Makati, and two daughters, Michelle a third year Accountancy student at Miriam College and Ellysa, a third year high school student also at Miriam College
