JOB DESCRIPTION
• MONITORING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CITY DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY and other strategic plans –
coordination of activities with internal and external partners, gathering, monitoring and
analyzing data, producing periodical reports
• IDENTIFICATION, PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF PROJECTS, integration of project ideas in
line with the economic and social development of the City; maintaining electronic database
• PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT in the preparation, application and
monitoring of projects’ implementation, which are relevant for the economic, social and
cultural development of the City
• SUBMITTING INITIATIVES to relevant City bodies for the preparation and implementation of
projects relating to local economic and social development
• INFORMING CITIZENS, NGOs and COMPANIES about the implementation of strategic goals,
plans and projects; open calls for project proposals and other relevant information
JOB DESCRIPTION
• PROMOTING THE CITY POTENTIALS, ATTRACTING INVESTMENTS
• Regular contacts with EMBASSIES, INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, ENTREPRENEURS
• Project preparation and application within EU PRE-ACCESSION FUNDS
• ENERGY EFFICIENCY activities
• Coordination of the ECONOMIC COUNCIL activities and cooperation with BUSINESS
ENTERPRISES
• Coordination of the ENERGY COUNCIL activities
• Preparation of the Bijeljina City CAPITAL INVESTMENT PLAN
• Since 2009 around 1 500 000 KM implemented
through Projects
• The Section for Local Economic Development and
European Integrations has participated in the
development and implementation of dozens of
projects and activities and continuously provides
professional support to internal and external
partners in this process
