mobility of ASEAN professionals

 Eligible Participants
• Be a national of an ASEAN member state
• Be a graduate of a recognized university program
which is accredited by the Authorities in his/her
home country
• Have at least 1 year of work experience in the
stipulated sub-sector in his/her home country
• Have sufficient proficiency in English language or the
language of the host country
• Have obtained sponsor from eligible company

 Eligible Company
• Has operations in the host country for at least 2 years
• Has satisfactory profitable performance and no
record of serious violation of Laws of professional
ethical standards

 Selection Process
• Professional bodies, where MRAs have been
concluded, the professional body listed in the MRA
 Duration of Exchange
• Mutually agreed by participating parties
 Visa/Work Permit
• All participants subject to meeting the visa/work permit
criteria of the host country

 Tax Arrangement
• To conform to the prevailing tax policies of the host

• Cost of participants to be jointly borne by the

(SMART) project in Malaysia, which
incorporates a Storm Water channel
and a motorway passage in a single
large diameter tunnel have a dual
purpose of mitigating floods in the
city centre and easing traffic
congestion from the south of the city
to the centre.
