Everyone is invited and asked to bring a side dish or dessert. We will meet from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you are bringing a child who wishes to speak to Santa, please bring a wrapped gift with your child’s name on it for him to hand out. Come and see a unique tree and join in the celebration. It is with a grateful heart, I come before you to say THANK YOU to all who helped with the LSC-UTA Thanksgiving Dinner. In such short notice, this was a huge undertaking. With God all things are possible. At first we were not sure how many students would sign up. We served over 150 students the Thanksgiving Meal. Though we were not sure how many congregations could join us we praise God that 7 churches signed up and praise God for those who could not but they still joined us through their prayers. This has been a joint venture by everyone. My heart was overjoyed with thanks to see such enthusiasm from all the participating churches. It turned about like everyone knew each other. It was like an extended home away from home, just as it is for the UTA students a home far away from home. Thank you to the All Saints Volunteers and for helping serve and visit with students and for the food they brought to share. Monday, December 21, 2015 6:00pm we are doing a Christmas Carols. You do not need to prepare any food. Goodies and drinks (cold/hot) will be provided. Even though the school is closed we still have a lot of students on campus. 40-50 students attend our Friday night program. Email me if you are interested. I humbly request you to please keep this student ministry at the Lutheran Student Center in your prayers. Pray that at least one unbelieving student will come to the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
