Research Interests
My research focuses on applying an evolutionary perspective to understanding human social,
sexual and romantic relationships, and human mating strategies. I have two major lines of
research: one examining sexual exploitability and its relationship with sexual attractiveness and
the other exploring changes in women’s sexuality related to fertility decline.

My teaching experience has prepared me to teach specialized courses in evolutionary psychology
and human mating and sexuality, as well as introductory courses in psychology and statistics and
research methods. I am also interested in teaching social and biological psychology. I am
comfortable interacting with and teaching students in small, seminar-style classes, as well as in
large lecture-format courses.
