In your notebooks discuss the candle experiment in all
observed phases pairing observations to what processes
caused those changes to happen. An example:
Observation 1: After placing the test tube over the lit
candle we observed air bubbles escaping from the tube.
Cause: Heat from the candle resulted in higher air temp
within the test tube. The higher temp increased air
pressure to be greater than atmospheric, increasing its
volume to be greater than the test tube.
