We pump 5,221 Ml per annum, (average of 14.3 Ml per day) into the Gaborone Dam We release 7,400 Ml (average of 20.3 Ml per day) of irrigation water released to Derdepoort Irrigation Board down-stream in the Marico river as the scheme’s secondary function. The releases were lower than last year because of the restriction imposed for six months as per TOCC agreement.
