PTA 2 : Reflection Part 3
I have utilized web-based software to create games before and experience with using
PowerPoint to create an interactive quiz. The crossword game I have not developed before and
was not aware of the eclipse software to create the crossword puzzle. The games of hot potato
and jeopardy I have assessed before to create learning interactive games. The games of
immediate feedback and responses seem to be the best fit in my leaner training environment.
The purpose for my game learning use is to encourage critical thinking given situational
business operational circumstances and retention.
The potential for gaming in my training environment would be for our learners’ knowledge
retention to be exhibited in their business processes of behavior. Also, I would like to use such
game tools in the future when teaching online business management courses.
Gaming potential outside the classroom I have seen recently used with jeopardy interactive
game presentation of a retired employee to be looking back over the years of their tenure. The
audience participated in gaming to win jeopardy in their responses of knowing the retiree and
this interaction created a memorable fun retirement celebration.
