Monday, December 5 Students will find text evidence over certain traits over a character from The Outsiders. Students will then document this text evidence using MLA format. Students will complete a body chart over a specific character proving certain qualities about the character. Students will then complete a life-size characterization of the character using the quotes. Students will check out a nonfiction book from the library. Tuesday, December 6 Students will find text evidence over certain traits over a character from The Outsiders. Students will then document this text evidence using MLA format. Students will complete a body chart over a specific character proving certain qualities about the character. Students will then complete a life-size characterization of the character using the quotes. Students must bring their nonfiction book to class. Nonfiction reading assignment will be assigned. Students need to find 10 facts over book and write them in MLA format. Additionally, students will have to write the citation of the book and write a summary over the book.
