Reading Logs EXAMPLES: Observation Reflection “The rabbits hurried noiselessly for cover.” p.2 I think this is significant because the rabbits are running away from the big bad noise coming from up the road. Lennie and George are disturbing the peace and quiet of nature. Perhaps this is foreshadowing? . Lennie says, “I’d find things, George.I don’t need no nice food with ketchup. I’d lay out in the sun and nobody’d hurt me. An’ if I foun’ a mouse, I could keep it. Nobody’d take it away from me.” This reminds me of Forrest Gump by the way Lennie talks slowly and simply to George. The way he forms his sentences reminds me of how Forrest speaks in the movie. Discussion Questions Think-pair-share: Turn to the person sitting across the aisle from you and share your answers for the discussion questions. Did you have similar answers?
