A day – Thursday, April 26th / B day – Friday, April 27th Review Guide due (50 points) Test on Review Guide – 100 questions (100 points) A day – Monday, April 30th / B day – Tuesday, May 1st Review Test for AP Exam - 150 questions (100 points) Starting the week of April 23rd, I will be having review session for the AP exam after school in room 309 starting at 4:00. Notes The review guide and the test on the review guide and the Review Test for AP exam need to be taken before the AP Exam on Monday, May 7th. Any and all unit tests need to be taken before the AP Exam on Monday, May 7th. If you are going to absent anytime between now and the AP Exam, the work needs to be made up before the AP exam. The purpose of the assignments is to help review for the exam, so taking it after the AP exam has little point. The final in June will be in two parts: part one is a 150-question test and part two is a 100-question test. The score for the Review Test for the AP exam that you will be taking on April 28th & April 29th can be used in lieu of the 150-point test part one of the final in June if you choose. If you are not happy with your grade on the Review Test for the AP exam, you can choose to retake the test on the day of the final in June. The 150-point test that is part one of the final in June will be the same test as the review test in April. If you receive less than a 70 on the Review Test for the AP, I will require you to retake that part of the test in June. The 100-question part two of the final, we will talk about in more detail as we get closer to June. Understanding that this part of the year is busy, if you wish to take the Review Test for the AP exam on a different day (as long as it is before the AP), please see me after class and we can make arrangements. Also, if instead of taking the Final Exam, part 1 all at once, there is the option of taking it as four 50-question tests. The schedule for that is: o Monday, April 30th – questions 1-50 o Tuesday, May 1st – questions 51-100 o Wednesday, May 2nd – questions 101-150 o Thursday, May 3rd – questions 151 – 200 These can be taken in 309 at either 8:15 am or 4:00 pm on the above days. Please see me by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 18th if you choose that option. The Study Guide The study guide is a tool to help you study for the Final and the AP Exam. It should be used along with your notes, handouts, the individual test study guides, vocab assignments, etc. I do not necessarily expect you to fill out the entire review guide. However, that being said, if you have been scoring low on the tests, then the expectation should be that the majority of the study guide be filled out. The test on the review guide will be based directly on the review guide, so the more of it you complete, the more prepared you will be for the test of the review guide, and the more prepared you will be for the final, and the AP. I left spaces for you to take notes, write comments, etc. next to the terms and concepts. These spaces might be useful for you to self-test yourself or make notes of which concepts you know and which ones you might need to review. You have more than six and a half weeks to complete this study guide. Plan and use your time wisely.
