Quarter 1
You will receive a completion grade for each of the topics below. You must complete at least 10 questions and
have a cumulative score of 82% in order to receive credit. You may answer more than 10 questions if you
want. Approximately every other week I will delete any session where you have answered less than 10
questions and/or sessions where you have earned 60% or less. All lessons, readings, games, etc. from all
pages must be completed by October 8, 2014.

*Note—these readings will be graded as a project for a total of two projects.
The following books have been added to your Pearson Interactive Science page. These books can also be
read in class as I have six copies of them. However, the books in class cannot be taken home. You will
need to read one book and finish the before, during and after learning activities in the front/back of the
book in a NEAT and organized way. In addition, you must write a summary of the book. The way you
write your summary is up to you. You could write a paragraph (a paragraph consists of 5-7 sentences
with correct punctuation and capitalization), design a bookmark, make a quiz of 10 questions, the ideas
are endless.
