Why Banning? Why PATHS? How do we get the word out to
students and parents?

Action Plan:
Social Media, Robo calls, emails
Go to the middle school before 1/24/15.
Flyers, posters, ppt.
What’s next?
When is the on-time selection “voting” open?
Only 9 days after we return from winter break!!

1. Gather student photos highlighting various programs/academies within
PATHS
2. Add slides of programs/academies that exist currently. Update slides.
3. Add slide of Mrs. Duarte – counseling duties
4. Tie tech/science with core content areas
5. The visions & “wish-list” to presentation
What’s Next?
1. Have PATHS teachers develop interdisciplinary project that highlight PATHS
visions/goals
2. Teachers collect digital photos
3. Contact Harbor College for partnership and course info for classes held at
Banning HS
4. How do Harbor College classes work with block schedule (compatibility)?
5. Coordinate with brochure & website subcommittee to have same info and
consistency

Objective:
Set time, who, where, what for each of the events, prepare students
for the events (-how to present themselves, what to say & not to
say, etc.)

 Background posters, pop-ups, signs, balloons
 Matching t-shirts, polos, background music
 Flyers, brochures to pass out
 Looping videos w/ TV
 Contest/raffles
 Display items: auto-body, sports therapy, technology, robotics
