DRM: Digital Rights Management
• Layer of administrative data “wrapped around”
the ebook file.
• Keeps the file secure and safe.
• Enforces rules from publishers.
• Not copyright…Licensing!
• Reader must be compatible with the type of
DRM used, and there are lots of kinds of DRM.
