We are delighted to inform you that the Rotary Club of Downtown Manila (RCDM) will be
having its very first CAMPUS JOURNALISM Competition entitled : “ RCDM RACJOURN 2016
CAMPUS JOUNRALISM : For the Youth , For the Filipinos ” with the theme “Pambansang
Halalan: Pagsipat, Paglinang sa Papel ng Midya at Pamamahayag sa Pambansang Kamulatan”
happening on Saturday, February 13, 2016, 8:00-5:30 PM at Santa Isabel College ,Manila .
During this momentous occasion, RCDM is cordially inviting you to be a part of this major
event by being one of our sponsors for this year’s RACJOURN. The main objective of this event is to
further educate students in the passion and essence of journalism. Students coming from various public and
private high schools will be competing in 5 categories namely : Editorial Writing ( English &Filipino) ,
Editorial Cartooning, News Writing ( English &Filipino), Sports Writing ( English &Filipino) , and
Photojournalism ( English &Filipino). The event’s other objective is to promote National Awareness and
Consciousness to students especially about the current pressing problems of society through journalistic
writing and at the same time to maximize their potential and talent to its fullest. The 2 main subjects for the
talk are Awareness in Social Issues through Journalism and Passion for Writing /Journalism.
We would be very honored and happy to have you as our sponsor for this will be of great help
to your product and to your promotion having more exposure to the different target market and mot
especially the Youth and to both the Rotarians and the school representatives, coaches and parents as well

Proposal for RACJOURN 2016

As our proposal we ( RCDM ) would like to request for the following:
 May we ask for your support to promote us in your radio station and post
something about RACJOURN 2016 in your website and Social Media
accounts two weeks before the competition.
 To also give us some freebies (such as gift cheques and discount coupons in
your affiliated companies) that will serve as our prize in our raffle promo if
you opted to participate in the raffle care of the sponsors during our closing
program in the afternoon.
In lieu of that :
 We will be posting your participation and sponsorship in the Facebook page
and other documentation from the event in various social media.
 We will include your logo in our event’s poster as our Media Sponsor
 During the program of the event we also invite the participants to like your
Facebook page, your URL and the hashtag that you have for the event,
slogan or your promotional word that will be posted in various social media.
 We will also be using if ever you have promotional videos and
advertisements during the program in the event.
 You can also promote in our event your newest project or activity.
 We will also be continuing involving your Radio Station in future events
and activities of Rotary club of Downtown Manila.
