MAJOR PROJECTS:

Social Media (Twitter) DataWarehouse, Business MOLAP, Data Mining using
decision tree algo and Data/Sentiment Analysis for political and Business Decisions
(Python, SQL ,visual C# WPF, SQL Server 2012, Microsoft BI Tool)-Final Year Project
o Tweets Obtained From Streaming API of twitter and then handles by selfdesigned ETL to extract from JSON format to flat text file.
o Tweets were tokenized into flat files using Python
o ETL tool in C# WPF forms was designed to make Data Warehouse from flat
files doing all the dirty work of transformation.
o Multiple OLAP cubes are being designed for Business Category from DW i.e
tweets about zong,Telenor,ptcl,mobilink & warid.
o Data analysis Techniques were applied on Data Marts of different city’s dataseparated by same ETL tool now doing the analysis work to extract
sentiments of people about those companies in the tweets with-respect-to
time and location (coordinates).
o Tweets are intended to build a big profile or different in different cities and
there sentiment about different event and category using python and will be
further mined to get answers about political views and entertainment
interests of Pakistani people located in Specific cities using Coordinates of
any respective area in the world (in this project it was Islamabad, Lahore,
Karachi).

Twitter sentiment Analysis (Python- using simple word dictionary)
o Sample stream of tweets were taken using twitter API
o Sentiment analysis was done using simple sentiment dictionary

Data-WareHouse for Agricultural Data(SQL, MYSQL server 2012)
o Profiling of all invalid values was done.
o ETL was performed using SQL queries.

Performance measuring test of Normalized and Denormalized tables was
done.
Careful analysis of Dimensions and Facts before doing Dimensional
Modelling(Star schema).

MOLAP representation using OLAP cubes of Agriculture Data Warehouse(Visual
Studio 2012 Data Tools, Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio, Microsoft Excel)
o Costume Time Granularity of DateTime Attributes was designed.
o Cube was designed in Visual Studio Data Tools.
o All possible answers(Aggregations) were represented in Microsoft Excel


ATM application(Java,Notepad), 2011
o A simple Window Form Application.
o Coded on notepad to implement inheritance by hand.
o System was capable of recording transactions and manipulating the old
balance.
o Users were defined using File Handling.


 every drawing/spray could be done by picking different colors

Factory Item Distribution and tracking System application and Database (Visual C#
and SQL Server), 2012
o An application attached with local database(SQL server Compact).
o Simple user interface to do UPDATE, DELETE,INSERT, SEARCH.
o Any item’s state could be tracked(Searched) from manufacturing to sales
dept.
o Application covers Sales and Manufacturing Departments.
o Relationship constraints were implemented on Logical layer of database and
were also handled in application(duplicate primary key, No foreign key in
parent table)

SMS n Call Using AT Commands(C#)
o Mobile was connected to the system through a Bluetooth connection.
o 2 of many AT commands were implemented.
o
I/O was performed through Ports assigned for the mobile device.

Database tampering Detection System Using Genetic Algorithm(Visual C# and My
SQL)
o This application was an implementation of MS research.
o System was able to detect any tampering done in any MYSQL database(with
some specifications).
o Tampering was detected by using a backup made on attributes of data and
not data itself.

Online Ticket Reservation System (PHP 5.3, JavaScript, CSS, HTML – MySQL
5.5, Apache WAMP 2.2 ) 2013
o Full access of Database was provided to the admin
o Admin and users were separated using admin panel(login).
