Objective: I will be able to identify and distinguish between producers, consumers, and
decomposers by completing a word sort.
Agenda: RTW
 Food chain/Food Web notes
 Start word sort
o Organize different species into producers, consumers, and decomposers
Assessment: Word Sort (Formative)
Materials: paper, scissors, glue, colored pencils
Notes: Article Summaries due Friday.

consumers, and decomposers through the trophic levels by completing a word sort.

 Finish Food chain/Food Web notes
 Finish word sort (second set of words)
o Add a new set of words and organize according to their meanings and
relationships
Assessment: Word Sort (Formative)
Materials: paper, scissors, glue, colored pencils
Notes: Article Summaries due Friday.

 Start Part One (research portion)
Assessment: Six cards of research information (summative)
Materials: species list, iPads, scissors, scrap paper
Notes: Article summaries due Friday.

 Some groups may start Part Two
