Dear clients:
Let us introduce to you CZ PRESS, s.r.o., company dealing with import and distribution of newspapers
and magazines from all over the world. Since the foundation of the company in 1991, we have
developed a large customer network of both newstands and end customers (foreign and national
companies, government and public institutions and, last but not least, private readers). Besides regular
press delivery, we provide single or short term special deliveries (conferences, seminars, etc.).
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AVAILABLE TYPES OF DELIVERY:
Monthly Pay
To larger clients and to juristic persons we recommend this type of delivery. Your order will be
registered as a standing order (valid for unlimited period of time) and we start deliveries effective
with the first available issue (except if you ask for other start of delivery).
You are free to change your order anytime, your request submitted on working days till 12:00 noon
will be executed effective with the following day.
You do not pay in advance. On the last day of each calendar month an invoice will be sent to you for
the copies delivered during that month. You can pay by collection, credit card, bank transfer or
payment order („složenka“). Please note that invoices can be claimed till the due date. Should you
not claim by this date and should you not respect the payment term, we reserve the right to charge
penalty fee amounting to 0,2% of amount due per each day of delay. In case of repeated delayed
payments, we are authorised to interrupt / stop the delivery.
Reader´s Account
If you are interested in single titles or if you are a budgetary organization, we recommend to enjoy
the possibility of deposit payment, so called Reader´s Account. Individual customers/clients
appreciate that when ordering through the Reader´s Account they are not obliged to pay small
regular amounts every month (and they can save on bank fees).
You will deposit an amount corresponding to the expected value of the delivery to our account.

as deposit is received. You are free to change your order anytime, your request submitted on
working days till 12:00 noon will be executed effective with the following day.
On the last day of each calendar month an invoice will be sent to you for the copies delivered during
that month. You do not pay this invoice, it is booked against your deposit.
Prior to full usage of your deposit, we will send you a renewal letter inviting you to increase the
deposit amount. You will increase the deposited amount prior to the moment of full usage of the
„old“ deposit. In opposite case we will terminate the delivery and send you the final bill.
Discounted Subscriptions
In cooperation with some publishers we are pleased to offer you subscriptions to selected titles. You
have the possibility to order and get a remarkable discount.
You prepay the subscription, the order cannot be changed during the subscription period.

Demo Shipment
If interested, you can order a sample copy, prepay one issue only and make your decision.
PLACING AN ORDER





Please fill in the initial order form and send it to our address.
We will register your order and inform you about your identification code. This code enables
us to speed-up the registration of your requests, please use it anytime you contact us.
Address changes and order cancellations must be submitted in written, your identification
code has to be mentioned.
Should the delivery address and bill-to address be different, please do not forget to mention
it.
The following information concerns Monthly Pay and Reader´s Account clients only:
o Order changes can be communicated by phone, too, on Mondays – Fridays between
08:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. Immediate changes to be executed on the next day must
be submitted till 12:00 noon.
o Your identification code is mentioned in the delivery notes (section „odběratel“) and
invoices (section „adresa dodávky“).
o With every shipment you will receive a delivery note, showing specification of goods
delivered, price changes, information on special issues, new titles, reasons of nondelivery (strikes etc.).
o Please note: The publishers reserve the right to change price and frequency of their
titles anytime.
CLAIMS
Please notify us of your claims as soon as possible, so that we can arrange a replacement copy to be
delivered.
You can claim by phone, too, on Mondays – Fridays between 08:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m.
TRANSPORT
You pay the cover price of the publication only, we do not charge any additional delivery or handling
fees.
In Prague city center, Brno city center and surrounding areas we deliver by car. Our drivers need free
access to the delivery spot. Should your house be locked, we will need a key enabling us to reach the
delivery spot. We deliver to mail box or reception desk, we cannot deliver the shipments through the
buildings.
Regions out of reach of our car distribution are delivered by mail. Unfortunately, CZ Press cannot be
held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the post, anyway the delivery delay should not
exceed two working days. Shipments with value exceeding 250 CZK are being sent by registered mail.
