 All Homework: neat/complete/on-time
 Appropriate classroom behavior

 Library books returned ON TIME, prepared for other enrichments
(P.E. clothes, instruments, etc.).
 Exemplifies “Pillars of Character”

 Warning= Moved from green, “Off to a great start,” to
yellow, “Warning.”
 Orange= Refocus or Incident Report Form to be filled out by
student and signed by parent
 Red= Study Hall Form or Pink Slip to be signed by parent.
Contact home will be made. Student sent to Study Hall.
 3 Pink Slips = Office Referral
Typical Nightly Homework
 Homework will be recorded in your children’s agendas every day,
Monday-Thursday. Please check in with your child about his/her
homework and check that it meets your level of expectation.
 Reading to be recorded in agendas next to icon of reading person at the
bottom of the page. Students are to record title of A.R. book and page
numbers or chapters read. Mon – Thurs (20 min.)
 Math: Quick Check. 3-5 problems with a “Writing to Explain” question
each night. Nightly math facts practice. XtraMath, Flash Cards, Apps, etc.
 Language Arts: Iconic Prompt Reading Response Journal (HW Journal).
One question per night as assigned.
 Extra Homework: Unfinished class assignments, typing practice on Typing
Agent (can be accessed from Student Links at home).
Teacher – Parent Communication
 Grade reports sent home periodically.
 Completed / corrected student work will be sent home to be
reviewed and signed and will then be filed until conference time.
