Applicants are admitted into the Program based on the following:
 Official Date of Completed Application
Materials
 Completion of All Academic Course
Requirements (see worksheet)
 Number of Points accumulated
(see pg 2 for explanation)
 Work Experience in Radiology or XT
licensure (Limited X-ray License)
Applications are accepted by appointment only.
• Scheduled 3 times a year:
• early February, late June, mid October
● Applications for the new class of
students will be reviewed each April.
• The applications may be re-ordered on
the waiting list according to the number of
points* awarded for courses completed,
observations hours completed, or work
experience.




When there are a number of applications
submitted at the same time, the applications
may be ranked based the following point
system :
The date of completed application,
the number of courses completed,
number of observation hours or work
experience completed.
Points will be awarded for each required
academic courses completed - leading to an
Associate in Science Degree in Radiologic
Technology at the time of the selection process.

• The A.R.R.T. may deny applications for
certification if the applicant has been found
guilty of dishonesty, fraud, deceit, acts
which deceive the public, felony, child

narcotics, dangerous drugs or devices,
