Bible. You cannot read and understand this chapter and not feel great joy over what the Lord
has done for you. It is the great climax of the Romans trilogy, which consists of chapters 6, 7

preceding chapters. Therefore, we will begin this study by summing up what we have learned
so far.

III. THE PURPOSE OF GOD
A. ROMANS 8:29-30
1. To conform us to the likeness of His Son (Philippians 3:21).

G. I AM PERSUADED (CONVINCED; FIRMLY BELIEVE) THAT:
1. Nothing that occurs in life or death
2. Nothing in the spirit world; no unseen powers of darkness
3. Nothing is my present life
4. Nothing in my future life
5. Nothing from above or below or any other creature in all creation
WILL EVER BE ABLE TO PUT A SPACE BETWEEN ME AND GOD; WILL EVER DIVIDE
ME FROM HIS LOVE.
CONCLUSION: We experience the truth of Romans 6:11, that we are dead to sin and alive to
God when we believe these incredible truths. The truths found in Romans 8 enable us to live
freely in the love of God. Living in these truths produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us. These
truths are facts and are true whether we experience them or not. They are true because God
says so.
