TExES Generalist Content Test (EC-6) The Generalist EC-6 Exam measures competencies in English Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Fine Arts, and Physical Education. Planner Dividers Color coded planner When you student teach to separate everything from forms to switching placements to stay organized. -Have folders for papers you need to grade. -Plastic protectors for important documents -Binder for important documents Meet prior to your placement for lunch or dinner Meet at the classroom before or after school before your placement to get acquainted with the classroom and more with the teacher. Always ask if she needs any help with anything making copies grading papers checking his/her box Slowly take jobs from her, do not take every job from her or she will feel overwhelmed. Make sure she is comfortable. Be positive at all times. Ask for advice. She/he will be happy to help.
