Program Description The NetSuite Business Development Representative (BDR) Program is a college recruitment program designed to prepare recent college graduates for an exciting and rewarding career at NetSuite. The 1218 month program consists of training and development combined with short-term rotational assignments reporting into sales management. We are looking to hire our next superstar sales representative or solution consultant and want to build a culture of promoting from within. If successful in the BDR role, it is expected that you will be hired into the NetSuite sales organization with a potential 50-100% increase in income. Job Description The NetSuite BDR Program provides a unique, hands-on learning opportunity that will help you gain real-world employment experience and give you a competitive edge early in your career. BDRs should be interested in participating in a broad range of work experiences across the NetSuite organization and will be tasked with challenging assignments where they will acquire product and industry knowledge, develop sales and presentation skills, and gain technical and project management experience. BDRs will work closely with their team, program manager and sales leadership at NetSuite to learn the business strategy of a world-class software organization with the ultimate goal of placement into a full time sales position with NetSuite. During the program, you will work with the program manager who will help with acculturation, sales methodology training, goal setting and career planning. Training will be administered through online courses, classroom training, and mentoring delivered in parallel with on-the-job work experience. Our goal is to give you the skills, knowledge transfer, support and development necessary to successfully advance your career with NetSuite. While the program is designed to be a 12-18 month assignment, BDRs may be promoted into a full time position early at the discretion of management. Program participants will be able to make an immediate contribution to the organization while they build skills and have the opportunity to increase their level of responsibility. BDRs will gain real-world experience by: Qualifying and producing quality leads for the Account Executive Teams Interacting by phone and email with prospect key personnel, up to, and including C-Level Analyzing prospect business needs, understanding processes, identifying projects, determining requirements and ascertaining potential solutions Performing outbound contact to existing NetSuite customers to sell additional services Maintaining an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet assigned objectives Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of NetSuite's service offerings from multiple perspectives – support, professional services, client management and sales Performing account and vertical profiling Monitoring and administering online customer forums Placement Process The goal of the Business Development Program is to develop talented, well-trained professionals to move into full time positions in NetSuite’s sales organization. Upon completion of the program, you will have developed a solid understanding of the NetSuite organization and may apply for a position based on your particular area of interest. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and position. You may be required to move to another NetSuite office for a full time position with the company.
