Making an Internal Phone Call Option A. Press INTERCOM or SPEAKER > Dial Extension # or press flexible button Option B. Off hook > Dial Extension # or press flexible key 2. Making an Outside Phone Call Option A. Press INTERCOM or SPEAKER > Dial 9 or select a line > Dial outside # Option B. Off hook > Dial 9 or select a line > Dial outside # 3. Selecting a Line to Call Option A. Off hook > Dial 9 and the next available line lights up green > Dial number to call Option B. Off hook > Press any of the line buttons that are not lit red > Dial number to call Note: You can press INTERCOM or SPEAKER or take your phone off hook prior to calling. The first 2 methods will utilize your phone speaker. 4. Forward Calls to External Number Step Step Step Step A. Press the INTERCOM button B. Enter *71 OR Press FWD/DND C. Press 0 for both intercom & outside calls, 1 for outside only, 2 for intercom only D. These are your options: 0 to cancel FWD/DND Options 2 to forward all calls 3 to forward when busy 4 for no answer 5 for calls when busy or no answer (both options 3 &4) Step E. Enter the Ext # OR dial 9+external phone number Step F. Press # to finish. Example 1: You are going on vacation and want all calls forwarded to your voice mail. Press INTERCOM *71 0 2 500# Example 2: Your cell # is 408 111-2222 and you want all calls to be forwarded upon no answer. Press INTERCOM *71 0 4 9 1408111222#. Example 3: You want to cancel all forwarding rules. Press INTERCOM *7120# 5. Make a Conference Call A. Call first Party > Press Conference key > Call second party 6. Park & Retrieve a Call Note: XX is a 2-digit parking zone number, anything from 00-99 Option A: During a conversation, press TRANSFER > Press *55XX to park Option B. During a conversation, press CALL PARK > Press XX Anyone can retrieve the call by pressing *52XX Example: Instead of placing a caller on hold, the operator parks him at 01. Press TRANSFER *5201. Another station can then dial *5201 to pick up the call. 7. Using the Personal Directory (Speed Dial) To add a speed dial contact: A. Press INTERCOM > Press *30 > Choose any number from 00-99 > Enter 9 + phone number > Press # then hang up Example: Jon’s number is 408 111-2222 and you want to assign his speed dial to 01. Press INTERCOM *30 01 9 1408111222 #. After hearing the confirmation beep, hang up. Note: You may overwrite an assigned speed dial number to be used with another phone number with the same process described above in 7B. To use the speed dial: B. Press INTERCOM > Press *** (3 times) > Press speed dial number Example: You have programmed Jon to 01 in the personal directory. Press INTERCOM *** 01 to speed dial.
