Lesson Guides EAL B10L Lesson 2 Targets Students will continue looking for writing ideas or they will write their first entry in their L1. Students will identify two personal language goals. Students will become more comfortable with the standard procedures of an EAL B10L class. We will discuss their possible 10 writing topics and 5 reasons writing could be a valuable learning tool. Then they will write their first entry in their L1. 2. We will learn the structure, purpose, and format of “Everyday Edits” or student’s specialized grammar lesson. 3. Students will recap the process of a Four Part Interview and repeat the activity using different questions, or alter egos (like superman) if they wish. 4. Ask their interview questions 2. Answer a classmates interview questions 3. Repeat/reword a group member’s interview answers Four Part Interview All students create questions. Students are divided into groups of three or more. There are three rolls: person asking questions, answering, and reporting. This repeats until all group members have done each role. Daily Reflection Handout daily reflection forms and explain their purpose and the required material. Also, ask students to complete exit slips with a comment about on of the activities.
