They were fighting over the Ohio Valley and the
Appalachian mountains. They wanted that area
because they could Trade with the Indians, Fur
trap in the forests, and a good lake for
transportation.
The War started in 1754, And ended in 1763.
HOW WAS THE WAR RESOLVED?
The war was resolved when the British found a
path near the mountains to the French's
capitol (Quebec, Canada).
• The British did a blockade. Blocked the water ,
so the French wouldn't get their supplies.

The British destroyed the capitol and the
French surrendered.

WHAT WERE THE AFTER AFFECTS
•
The after affects of the war was, when the Indians
saw the British coming to the Ohio Valley.

The Indians fought the British, because they wanted
the French to win.
•
The colonists made the Proclamation of 1763. It
states that no colonist should settle over the
Appalachian mountains, to disturb the Indians.
