American Express Business Travel
Employees should make all business travel reservations, including en-route changes, with American
Express Travel Services.
Initiate A Travel Profile
In order to make reservations with American Express each traveler needs a travel profile. If you are a
travel arranger and plan to make reservations on behalf of another employee you will also need a
profile.
To initiate a profile please visit American Express’ online booking tool AXIOM to self-register for a
profile.

Click on “create a new account”

Enter the following information
o
Security Code: Bose code is - 218958
o
Full Legal Name: Should match exactly to the name on your travel documents
o
Email Address
o
Username: Use either your employee ID or email address
o
Password: Must be 7 characters and contain at least one letter and one number

Once submitted, you will receive an email with a unique link to complete the registration
process

Enter all data fields
o
Full Legal Name
o
Date of Birth
o
Gender
o
Profile PIN: Create your own, but it must be 6 – 10 numeric characters
o
Select and answer the security question
o
Business Address/Phone and Home Phone

Enter all air, car and hotel preferences and loyalty program numbers (not required)

Enter Cost Center (example: US00000)
Once the registration process is complete you will be directed to the Home Page on AXIOM. It is
recommended prior to making reservations you update your profile with payment methods, select
delegates to book on your behalf, personal communication preference, etc

Make A Reservation
Domestic Travel:
It is mandatory that all domestic reservations are made on American Express’ online booking tool
AXIOM. AXIOM allows travelers the convenience of making travel reservations 24 hours a day, 7 day a
week from their desktop or PC.
Please note that the use of AXIOM is not mandated in the following situations:

Travel begins in less than four hours.

Domestic travel involves three or more destinations in one itinerary.

The reservation includes international destinations.

Traveler is already in transit and needs to change their itinerary.

International Travel:
International travel should be made with an American Express dedicated travel agent. They can be
reached at 1-508-766-5850, option 2. Hours of operation is Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
excluding Bose holidays.
