WRITING
FRAME
I.P.E.E.L.
GOOD WRITING FOLLOWS A
LOGICAL ORGANIZED PATTERN.
In
high school, as a part of the IB
program, you will be expected
to write with “P.E.E. chains.”
“TEACHER, WHAT IS A P.E.E. CHAIN?”
A P.E.E. Chain is
a way to frame,
or structure your
writing. Each
letter stands for
an important
part of your
argument.
P: Point
E: Evidence
E: Explanation
