Evaluation of The Third Meeting
In Czestochowa /Poland ,September 22-28
On Sunday (22.09.2013)
All partners arrived at Czetochowa at different times.
Polish partners met the guests at the airport and brought
them to Czestochowa by bus.
Students were met by host students and their parents and
taken to host families
Teachers accommodated in the Mercure Hotel.
All Comenius partners and students had a visit in the Cyprian
Kamil Norwid Secondary School.. A tour of the school was given
by the Polish partners and Polish students.
The headmaster of the school, Krzysztof Warchowiac
welcomed the guests in his room.
A guided tour around Jasna Gora – the most important
historic monument and place of worship in Czestochowa.
Welcome dinner for Comenius partners. The Headmaster, the
Head Vice Principal and the Vice Principal joined the dinner.
On Tuesday (24.09.2013)
Polish Game ‘Mushroom Hunting’was played by all partner
students in the school auditorium.
Project activities ‘Songs and Slogans of the Revolution’
Each school presented their slide show on a revolutionary event
from their history supported by protest song as a background
information.
Each country presented a song connected with the chosen
event. A part of the song was taught and sung by all the
participants. Students used their national melodies to
create a new song. They wrote new lyrics in their native
languages.
All Comenius partners performed Friedrich Schiller’s “Ode
to Joy” together, sung by the partners in their respective mother
languages. The German music teacher joined the song by playing
the piano.
Work of art
A common work of art was created containing the
representations of all the revolutionary events. The work of art
combined the techniques of collage and painting. Students also
sticked some pictures related to their revolution.
Panel discussion
Two students from each country took part in a panel
discussion on ‘The role of the youth in revolution times and the
role of the event in the country’s history. The host country
provided a chairperson responsible for leading the discussion and
collecting the conclusions from the participants.

On Wednesday (25.09.2013)
A visit at the Wieliczka Salt Mine with a guide
A trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Oswiecim. A
guided tour around the former concentration camp.
On Thursday (26.09.2013)
Project activities ‘Young Meet Old in the school auditorium.
Each country let the partners watch their interview with old
people in the Nursing Home.
A student from each country read the essay on their solutions to
overcome the generation gap.
Students created a cartoonish poster based on their
solutions how to overcome the generation gap.
Celebrations of the School Patron’s Day in the Sports Hall.
A trip to Olsztyn to visit ruins of an mediaeval castle.
Chicken and sausage barbecue in a restaurant.
On Friday (27.09.2013)
A day trip to Cracow, the cultural capital of Poland. A guided tour
at the Wawel Castle and in the Old Town.
Comenius Partners’ Final Dinner
On Saturday (28.09.2013)
Departure time
The Turkish, Spanish and French were taken
to the airport in Warsaw by bus. The
German went to the airport in KatawicePyrzowice.
