Baptisms:
Please call the Rectory to make arrangements. Parents must be practicing
Catholics in this Parish or able to provide a letter of permission from
the proper parish for Baptism here. Godparents, if not St. Joseph
parishioners must provide a letter that they meet the requirement:
a practicing Catholic, at least 16 years old, have received Baptism,
Confirmation, and First Communion and, if married, in a marriage
recognized by the Catholic Church. A baptized Non-Catholic may
serve as a Christian witness.

Donuts after Mass – we will have donuts and other refreshments after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00
a.m. Masses on Sunday, January 26th in the Parish Hall. Please plan to join us!
Quilt Raffle – Mrs. Gladys Long was the winner of the beautiful quilt that was raffled off as part
of the Craft Room at the Annual Fall Dinner. The Raffle added $300 profit to the Dinner.
CCD Classes – will resume on Tuesday, 7 January at 6:45 p.m. in Mother Catherine Spalding
School.
Holy Hour – our Holy Hour for the month of January will be held on Monday evening, 6
January from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Church. This time of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament
– in the glow of the Christmas tree lights – is a wonderful way to begin the new calendar year
and extend the Christmas Season!
St. Mary’s Young Adult First Sundays – young adults (21-35) in St. Mary’s County will be
attending Mass together on the first Sunday of each month and having brunch afterwards. Please
come and join us!! Dates and locations:
