Team Objective:
Our purpose is to provide professional support and counseling to our clients who are in need of
financial advice.
Preparation and Quality:
Quality is defined as the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar
kind; the degree of excellence of something. Team Glückspilz will always make it a priority to
produce and hand in quality work. In order to make sure that this does happen, it is imperative
that we always start assignments at least two weeks before it is due. What quality work looks
like is a piece of work that is organized, neat, and meets the requirements. Effort has to be put
into that body of work for us to receive a good grade. We will look through each of the members
work and the group will collectively decided which work will be submitted. –Paige Smith
Team Decision Making:
We will make decisions based off what is best for the team as a whole and what will ensure us
the best grade possible. We will discuss every aspect of our work and make sure that everyone
is on the same page and that every member agrees with each detail before submitting anything.
Work Breakdown and Structure:
Project Manager -- The project manager serves as an assistant to the Presentation Coordinator
and Webmaster with completing his/her task.
Formal Report Coordinator -- Responsible for the Formal Report editing and completion. DOES
NOT WRITE the ENTIRE paper. Each team member will have section(s) to write to get credit
for the team paper.
Research Coordinator -- Responsible for research links and sources. Assists the Formal Report
Coordinator with Editing and Compiling the formal report paper. Each team member contributes
research sources for the project.
Presentation Coordinator -- Responsible for editing and assembling the presentation for the
team. DOES NOT CREATE the ENTIRE presentation. Each team member will have a slides

Webmaster -- Responsible for the team website. Creates the team logo, color scheme and
layout for the site. Populates the template with each team member's info. Creates the site,
publishes it, tests it and then releases it to the team members for them to publish. Each person
will publish the team site to get credit. Assists team members with publishing site.
Team Meetings:
Team meetings will be scheduled to fit the best possible time for all team members. If a member
is unable to attend, that member is required to be present via video chat or via voice chat.
If a member is unable to attend a meeting or others options provided, the member must notify
the team in advance.
Meeting should not exceed two hours
Non Performance:
Team Members will be expected to participate and contribute equally to the group project. The
following disciplines will be applied if team rules can not be met.
Missing a meeting:
1st time: The team will notify the missing member to remind them that the meeting was
missed.
2nd time: If the team chooses to, will notify Professor Perry about the meeting being
missed.
Fails to Communicate:
1st time: the team will notify the member that communication is needed.
2nd time: The team will contact Professor Perry to notify the member.
Misses a deadline:
If a designated team member misses a deadline then they will have to notify Professor
Perry to ask permission for a late submission. The team members who had nothing to do
with the late submission can still receive full credit but the designated member who
missed the deadline will accept a point deduction.
Stops Contributing:
If a team member stops contributing then the remaining members can ask Professor
Perry if that team member can not receive any credit for the remaining work that they
did not help with or possibly be fired from the team.
When a team member stops communicating or misses an INTERNAL Deadline, the
project manager will document attempts to communicate with the team member by
phone, email and/or social media. This documentation will be copied by email to the
professor. Failure to answer the team’s attempt to contact will constitute a written
warning by email copied to the professor. The professor will then attempt to contact the
team member by email. If the team member then does not respond to the team and
professor, then the professor has the option to allow the team to FIRE the member. If a
member is FIRED, he or she will be placed in the GHOST Group and expected to
complete all project components individually.
