Spring Festival, Saturday 22nd of September 10am to 2pm
Hello all,
We’re getting excited about the upcoming Spring Festival and Open Day, lots of
things to see and do!
For the day to run super smoothly we are asking for your attendance and
contribution in the following ways:
Could every family please bring greenery (eg from climbers) and flowers
suitable for making springtime flower wreaths and bring on the spring fair
morning to the verandah of your child’s classroom/kindy
Playgroup – please bring to Peppermint cottage playgroup.
Could every family also bring a piece of fruit (uncut) along with their sweet or
savoury plate of food to share for the day. Pieces of fruit – delivered to the hall
kitchen if possible, otherwise with your plate of food to the following locations:

We will be setting up a tea/coffee and cake station near the old shop (the round
bit of paving) that will run throughout the day, selling chai tea and fresh brewed
coffee as well as sweet finger foods. This will run as a fundraising event, similar
to the last two fortnightly markets, raising the remaining money for the
kindergarten flour mill.
Half way through the morning program platters of fruit and bread baked at
playgroup will be given to every classroom as a free snack.
Lunch will be the usual (free) shared meal event, and take place on trestle tables
set up on the basketball court.
The day will then continue with fun afternoon games and activities plus market
stalls – face painting, sack races, massage station, duck duck goose, busker’s
corner – itching to help? Let your class rep know!
PTO…
