Self-directed Learning Portfolio - SDL (20%)
1. The SDL consists of self-accessed online exercises.
2. These exercises will begin in Week 3 until Week 12
3. The exercises are to be completed individually. They are meant to help
strengthen grammar and vocabulary which then would help in writing better
academic texts.
4. Submit each practice via Edmodo by uploading your completed exercise.
Follow the following steps:
a) After completing each practice, print screen the page containing the
results of the exercise.
b) To print screen the result page, click the print screen button.
c) Next, open a word document and click paste.
d) On the word document, make sure you have the following information:
 Name, Matric No., Group
 SDL Task (e.g: SDL Task 1)
e) Save the document as PDF and upload it on Edmodo.
5. The completed task will be graded on Edmodo. Marks will only be awarded for
the task that is submitted on time.
