•Based on the location of Max’s Restaurant, the Labor Market for all job positions will be
targeted to the state level only (Pennsylvania) unless any current qualified employees wish
to transfer to our new store location.
•Managerial Positions are open to candidates who show the essential qualifications to
be successful at the job. Promotion from within is also an option.
•Hourly Positions will be easier to fill, so we will look to draw employees from close in
markets that may or may not have experience in the restaurant business
•Desired Hourly Positions (Responsibilities and Rankings):
•Supervisors: - Responsible for managing schedules, activities, and behaviors of
hourly employees. Fostering a positive upbeat atmosphere for the staff to emulate
and for the customers to enjoy.
•Prep Cooks - Responsible for preparing daily food orders conforming to all FDA
rules and regulations and to customer specifications in a timely manner, keeping stock
of inventory and equipment maintenance needs and effectively reporting those needs
to the Supervisor/Manager.
•Servers(Order Takers) - Responsible for positive interactions with customers,
proper order taking, timely service and meeting customer needs proactively and with
energy and enthusiasm.
•Dishwashers - Responsible for keeping the kitchen and dishes clean and sanitized
in a timely manner as to always have available supplies when needed.

•Free Meal - Employee is entitled to one free meal for every shift they
work
•Shift Differential Pay – Employees who work any holiday or the early
morning shift will receive a 50¢ shift differential
•Educational Assistance – Employee who is enrolled full-time at an
accredited college will receive tuition assistance up to $1,500 per
year after a completion grade of “C” or higher is awarded. This
money is to include tuition and books only less other financial aid
•Discretionary Benefits – Hourly Full-Time Employees
•Free Meal - Employee is entitled to one free meal for every shift they work
•Discounted Meal – Employee is entitled to 5% off check when dining in
restaurant during non-work hours
•Shift Differential Pay – Employees who work any holiday or the early morning
shift will receive a 50¢/hour shift differential
•Educational Assistance – Employee who is enrolled full-time at an accredited
college will receive tuition assistance up to $2,500 per year after a completion
grade of “C” or higher is awarded. This money is to include tuition and books
only less other financial aid.
•Paid Time Off (PTO) – 2 days of sick time provided after 90 day probationary
period
•Paid Vacation – 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months of uninterrupted
service; After 3 years of employment, the hourly employee will accrue 2 weeks
of paid vacation
•Health Care Plan – Health insurance provided at a discounted rate through a
PPO
•Dental Plan – Dental insurance provided at a discounted rate
•Discretionary Benefits – Hourly Supervisor Employees will enjoy the benefits of an
hourly full-time employee, but will be provided additional benefits that include:
•Paid Time Off (PTO) – 3 additional days (total of 5) provided after 90 day
probationary period
•Paid Vacation – will receive an additional week to start (total of 2 weeks)
after 6 months of service; After 3 years of employment, the hourly supervisor
will accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation
• Life Insurance – optional life insurance will be provided at a reduced rate
•Relocation Benefits – If a hourly supervisor is hired outside of a 100 mile radius,
relocation benefits will be provided for being hired at our location
•Retirement Plan - 401K Plan will be provided with an employer contribution
match of $0.25 for every $1 invested. The employee will be vested according
to the following table:
