New Brunswick offers tourism experiences for
every traveler type. Tourists can choose a variety
of tourism experiences simply by selecting one of
the province's highways or main roads and
investigating what lies along that route.
The province has made the tourist's work simpler
by organizing the province into five Scenic Drives
and describing many of the tourist experiences
that can be found along each one.
Acadian Coastal Drive
Appalachian Range Route
Fundy Coastal Drive
Miramichi River Route
River Valley Scenic Drive
http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/TravelInfo/ScenicDrives.aspx
Now you are going to in groups of two to create a presentation that identifies tourism experiences
for each of the traveler types.
You will do some research on each of New Brunswick’s scenic drives. Your task is to find one
experience per scenic drive. However, each scenic drive experience will be for a different traveler
type. (You will have 5 drives & 5 different traveler types). Find an actual experience for the traveler
type you've picked. Name the experience, give a brief description, the location, date (if it has a
specific date) and the cost.
Add a photo.
Travel experiences may be linked to more than one travel type—after all, different types of people
can enjoy a similar experience for different reasons. Keep this in mind as you describe your
selections.
Remember: the information you fill in should be helpful for people looking to plan a trip that is
appropriate for their own travel types.
