Project Management Intern
TM International is one of the leading manufacturers of temporary tattoos and distributes product both Business-toBusiness and Business-to-Consumer. As an intern reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Director
of Corporate Strategy and Analysis I was tasked with assisting the CEO with the initial stages of a strategy revision,
delivering a recommendation for a potential ecommerce platform migration, and working on day-to-day marketing
issues with the team.
 Evaluated the current ecommerce platform and researched alternative ecommerce platform providers to
determine a strategy for a platform migration
 Implemented a discovery process to narrow the field of providers
 Presented ecommerce platform recommendation to senior leadership
 Conducted SWOT analysis after performing in depth interviews with managers in functions across the company,
and presented findings directly to the CEO; this analysis became the starting point for a corporate strategy revision
 Developed an ROI model based on the finalists’ proposals and delivered recommendations for next steps in the
process
 Created an ROI modeling tool for the marketing department for future investments in print advertising by
identifying and applying key ecommerce metrics to print media research findings and print pricing structures for
several potential publications
Veeco Metrology, Tucson, AZ

HR/Operations Administration
Veeco Metrology, a part of Veeco Instruments of New York, designed and manufactured optical metrology
instrumentation for industrial customers. In my role I managed daily administrative tasks for the entire company, but
made my name there by consistently taking on projects with managers and employees across departments. During
my time there, I worked on projects for the President, the VP of Strategic Marketing and Business Development, and
the Accounting Manager, and collaborated with senior management, company engineers, product managers, and
staff accountants.
 Conceptualized and implemented a new format for remote software demos in order to educate and promote the
first major software redesign in a decade
 Designed tutorials to educate the sales team and potential customers about a new software product, which
subsequently drove new ideas for and adoption of product self-installation videos
 Managed intra-company communications by developing weekly presentations for the facility, providing important
employee information, facility announcements, metrology updates, etc. resulting in a more departmentally
integrated environment
 Audited all incoming employee expense reports in an acting capacity for the Metrology business unit, including
personnel from the Tucson, Santa Barbara and Camarillo offices as well as the service and technical support group
located throughout the United States
 Two time recipient of the Veeco Bronze Award for Excellence for creating new and more effective formats for
internal company communication
 One time recipient of the Veeco Silver Award for Excellence for Vision64 demonstration work
