She ran to the store. (Action Verb)

 Front: Pronoun
 Back: Takes the place of a noun.
 Notebook:
She was really excited for dinner.
He, she, it, they, them, I, me, himself, etc.
 Front: Adjective
 Back: Describe a noun. What kind? How much? How many? Which
one?
 Notebook:
Clara is a great student.
Articles and numbers are adjectives!
 Front: Adverb
 Back: Describe verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. Answer: How? When?
Where? To what degree?
 Notebook:
I quickly ran to the store.
Michael very slowly opened the door.
 Front: Prepositions
 Back: Show location in time and space. Anywhere a rabbit can go!
 Notebook:
She went inside the tent.
He was studying during the study hall.
 Front: Interjection
 Back: Show emotion, utterance, or exclamation.
 Notebook:

 Back: Connect words, clauses, phrases, and sentences.
