Human Resource Manager
Dear Sir/Madam
I have a well-developed sense of reason and an ability to apply myself and skills wherever
needed. I am also a flexible team player, a fast learner and can focus on performing a task on
a continuous level.
Some modules that I have completed and feel may be relevant to the job position are, Basic
and Further Analytical Methods for Engineers; Integrated CAD/.CAM; Material Engineering;
Industrial Systems & Management (MRP, ERP); Electrical, Electronic and Digital Principles;
Engineering Thermodynamics, Aircraft Structural Analysis; Total Quality, Aircraft
Workshop at Emirates Airlines base. In addition, I have worked at the Metrology lab for my
research study and used the CMM extensively for Reverse Engineering.
I am skilled and comfortable with using various presentation softwares and am practiced in
keeping a professional and calm attitude while juggling the many issues that may arise in a
busy environment.
Additionally, I have carried out a number of projects in the university including Quality &
ISO 9001:2000 systems, Six Sigma, Project Management, Manufacturing Systems and
Business Applications in Engineering where I extensively used project management tools
such as MS-Project and/or MINITAB in order to manage resources and keep projects on
track.
After my graduation, I have taken up few temporary positions in various locations and
therefore am comfortable with relocating and can easily adapt to the changes in situations
usually associated with it.
My resume attached provides additional information on my background and qualifications
and I would love the opportunity to discuss them further in relation to the applied role.
Yours sincerely,
ShajinFarzana.

Academic Profile
MSc in Engineering Project and Systems Management, Kingston University, London,
2010.
Relevant Modules: Industrial Systems and Management; Systems Modelling and
Simulation; Industrial Project Management; Business and Finance Resource Management.
Project:
This thesis is mainly an investigation of the surface reverse engineering
technique to generate free form surface models in a computer aided design system. An
extensive study of different methods, algorithms and available machinery was carried out in
order to improve the quality of the final CAD and rapid prototyped product using a bridge
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) which assisted in data acquisition. The work was
defined and justified by reference to scientific, technical and commercial literature with the
assistance from both the academic staff and PhD students. Software packages such as
Solidwork, CATIA V5, project management tools MS-Project, MINITAB &
PERTMASTER were used extensively to manage the resources and keep the project on track.
BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering Design, Kingston University, London, 2007.
Relevant Modules: Aerospace Technology; Business Applications in Engineering; Aircraft
Maintenance and Logistics; Total Quality.
Project:
This was an experimental work and labs based group project to design, build,
and fly a remote controlled airplane (RCA) that can complete specific ground and flight
missions outlined in the request for proposal (RFP) by the university.
I was involved in the structural design group that dealt with the surfaces exposed to air
where I learnt to integrate the many aspects of design based on aerodynamic calculations and
developed an analytical skill to balance the advantages and disadvantages of various design
possibilities.
Working alongside the test, verification and construction teams of the RCA, I gained
knowledge of how additional factors like potential liability, safety, environmental concerns,
marketing, engineering and business infrastructure and mainly costs affect the RCA design.

Relevant Modules: Introduction to and Advance Aerodynamics; Aircraft Structural
Analysis; Aircraft Propulsion Technology; Engineering Thermodynamics; Aircraft Fluid
Systems; Gas Turbine Science.
