Pre-Calculus is a course to bridge the gap from Algebra II to Calculus. It reviews and provides depth to many
Algebra II topics, which help those students who need to raise ACT or SAT scores. This course will also
emphasize trigonometric functions, applications of trigonometry, advanced algebra, analytic geometry, and the
use of graphing calculators. It will include analyzing functions and data, and using models to draw conclusions
or make predictions. It will provide an introduction to piece-wise functions, vectors, and sequences and series.
The approach includes presenting solutions from multiple perspectives – algebraic, graphic, and numeric. It is
highly recommended for anyone going to college.
