LATIN CH.5

At home, maybe you have to clean all day- washing the dishes and cleaning the
floor with the vacuum. At your job, maybe you have to do boring, vacuous work
that is too easy and feels meaningless. Maybe you need to evacuate from your
apartment for a while, and take a vacation.
Before you depart on your vacation, you should learn about the locale that
you’re traveling to. Are there vacancies in the hotels and hostels, or are all of
the rooms full? Are the hotel’s lavatories clean? Are the locals good hosts? Will
the local food be ok for you to eat? Make sure the area is safe, too. If there is any
destruction there from a typhoon or flood, structures like hotels and hospitals
might not be safe, and you should relocate.
The most important thing is to have fun on your vacation. Enjoy a concert in an
auditorium. Go shopping in the clothing, sports, and furniture departments in a
department store. Look at the stars in the sky at a planetarium. Or just relax and
enjoy your hotel or resort’s hospitality.
