About GOHAR Foundation
(Global Organization for Human Advancement & Reforms)
General
1.
The name of the Foundation is “GOHAR Foundation”, where “GOHAR” is an
acronym for “Global Organization for Human Advancement and Reforms. Our Motto
is “Come to Success”. The present registered office of GOHAR Foundation is at
House - 170, Street - 9, Imran Khan Avenue, Chaklala Scheme-3, Rawalpindi,
Pakistan. The Foundation is registered under Societies Act of 1860.
Vision
2.
GOHAR Foundation is a non-profitable, non-commercial and a non-political
organization with the vision to produce globally acceptable, enlightened, creative,
effective and self-sustained human beings by providing free education, professional
skills and inculcating strong moral values and character traits. Work on human
advancement by bringing reforms and awareness around the world thereby
improving the lives of people by making them self-sustained. This blend and special
brand of advanced, educated and strong personality is then able to deliver, is
beneficial, recognized and adaptable in any society of the world.
3.
It is also about bringing reforms in the society in order to improve the lives of
individuals thus enabling them to be self-sufficient. It would also mean discovering
and polishing their talent, improving their mental, emotional and spiritual growth by
imparting education, encouraging strengths / special qualities, developing science
and technology and decreasing threats to the human civilization. This human product
would bring peace and harmony in the world, eliminate poverty, improve health,
reduce crime and bring justice in the world. It would also bring balance and stability
in the world.
4.
We are thus talking about job creators and not job seeker. We are looking at
underprivileged, uneducated and non-affordable children who shall be identified,
reached, polished, enlightened, educated, groomed and transformed into selfsustained strong personalities so as to become source of inspiration for others. We
are also looking for promoting and refining talented people who have no recognition
in the society. We are looking to produce creative minds who would be leading the
world think tanks.
5.
It would entail massive reforms, efforts and campaign throughout the globe
which would necessarily mean to reach out in every corner of the world and making
people part of our team. The whole exercise and effort is supervised and trained by
our dedicated team of professionals from all walks of life, who have the will, passion,
urge and desire to deliver. Our international ambassadors would create a bridge in
the world by promoting and implementing this vision.

A Day in GFSS
28.
The kids are picked up from their homes and brought inside the school
premises with the same clothes they are wearing. They don’t carry bags or wear
uniforms. After the attendance they straight way come in our cloak rooms where they
wash and clean themselves under supervision of psychologist and respective
teachers. Here they are changed into pretty uniforms, shoes and take their bags
from their respective lockers. From here they join the central assembly. Then they
take breakfast on dining table, followed by a happy meal and a healthy lunch – the
food which a child of elite class won’t have. During their entire day they get highest
standards of academic education, more than what a student gets in a renowned,
expensive school of Pakistan. They are then divided into various groups for activity
rooms, computer education and communication skills training on rotation basis.
During the day they are also given regular motivational talks, listen to various guest
speakers and taken to exposure visits on monthly basis. Daily counseling sessions
are held by the psychologists and here they are categorized into different groups for
their onward career planning. Their personalities are groomed in a scientific and
modern way. They speak English and other foreign languages, they are expert on
computers, and they become wizards of mathematics and possess excellent general
knowledge.

Why this high cost?
34.
To accomplish these standards, enormous resources are essential. Just
visualize the resource constraint for a school which is entirely free, but having such
high standards and features, providing all life function facilities under one roof with
academic standards not less than any of the expensive school in Pakistan. GFSS is
not just a school; it’s a way of life and what is much needed more than money or
resources is the passion and will to live and stand up for this great cause.
