Character Creation
A Brief presentation of the
development and creation of a
character in which I created.
Initial Character Research

For my initial character I knew several
things I wanted a female protagonist and
a medieval/fantasy setting. Drawing from
Anime Art style and be influenced greatly
by Final Fantasy this sparked several ideas
for my initial design.
The setting I wanted a dark enchanted
world which had its light extinguished, a
game that creates a world like this for
referance would be Dark Souls. This game
manages o create an atmosphere of you
being alone against endless waves of
enemies and still maintain a magical and
intriguing world.
Another part of the character I knew I
wanted was some kind of Sprit form she
can transform into giving a contrasting
fell and move set for the character. I
finally settled on a white wolf .

Here was the first initial designs for
my character. Not being a great
drawer I decided to produce my
ideas in steps making it easier for me
to portray.
I started with the character model, in
keeping with the anime theme I
decide to draw the eyes in this style. I
settled on brown eyes.
The armour was a variety of concept
I came up with, the hardest part was
making the whole outfit flow as I had
so many ideas and not all would
work together.
The hairstyle is just basic Blonde long
hair with a side sweeped fridge.
Character Development Ideas
• Her Armour is made from a
variety of metals and cloths,
wearing a variety of light armour
for faster movement.
• I wanted the armour to be a sort
of shiny silver but still protective.
The Red Velvet embroiled
throughout was heavily inspired
by Asuna from Sword Art Online,
I was hoping this would give an
elegant and graceful approach to
the female warrior
Character Development Ideas
•
Here we have the first design for her Wolfform. Being a fond lover of Werewolves I
thought I would end up with her having the
horrible curse upon her. From a game play
perspective though I settled with her just
turning into a White Wolf. This would be a
form where she could unless her full potential.
The wolf is a simple wolf, with the twist of being
able to use magical power. Like White fluffy fur
the wolf may look elegant but is a fear some
opponent to come up against.

Here Is a back view and a side view of
my character.
I decided to play around with a
variety of sword ideas attempting to
create a design I was happy with. I
knew I wanted to have it jagged and
have a pattern inscribed down the
base. The hilt would be made of Onyx
and the sword with a Starlight steel.
At the top right of the screen have
three versions of the moon I was
playing around with making these her
magical attacks starting from crescent
moon as it grows stronger ends up
full moon dealing considerably more
damage.
Character Development Ideas
• Here I came up with the idea to
add Angel wings to my character
adding an angelic feel. I decided
with long flowing white
feathered wings. Under I
continued with the concept ideas
for attacks showing the
progression.

Character Backstory
• The world been plunged into
darkness her homeland a distant
memory. Luna the princess of
moonlight must expel the
shadows of this unknown threat
and save those truly dear. During
the year 2126 a great darkness
has fallen upon the world, but a
prophecy has spoken of a girl
with eyes like starlight and with
the fierce nature of the wolf, will
rise up, banishing this looming
threat strangling the world.
Saving humanity from this plight.

Gameplay
• Potential roles within the game.
The Character I have created will
be the main character and focal
point of the game. She will be the
hero and main protagonist
allowing the main player to play
through as her in her quest. Due
to the mechanics of the game the
movement and attacks will be
basic manoeuvres and skills. The
player once reaching a Certain
Score threshold will be allowed to
access wolf form for a certain
time.
