I am a Senior Program Manager with over 29 years of international experience
from a number of different global Business Change initiatives in the Automotive Business. The profile for my education is based on an MS degree in Electrical Engineering and IT combined with an Executive MBA degree. I also have
competence in a number of additional areas including Business Process Management, Business Change and overall Business Development. I have really
enjoyed working in complex global programs and with Business Change responsibilities end-to-end including Business Process implementation, IT system
development and Organizational Development.

2009 - 2012 Saab Automobile AB
Program Manager in the Saab PMO (Project Management Office) staff with responsibility
for the Business Development and IT system implementation programs below:

Internal Consultant for Saab Parts AB in IT Business Management.
Completed Saab 9-4X business integration between Saab, GM and vendors with implementations over 18 months. All until the Saab Automobile bankruptcy Dec 19
2011.
o IT Program Management with an end-to-end responsibility for all IT initiatives requested for the new Saab 9-4X product produced by GM Mexico and Ryder of Mexico in Ramos.
o Since February 2009, responsible for the ongoing “Carve Out” activities within Saab
IT system area Business Services, disconnecting Saab Automobile AB from General
Motors.
o Responsibility for multiple IT projects to develop the Saab future business model in

Standard System implementation for GM Global Product Development Programs. European
Regional Project Manager for Global World Book implementation with responsibility in
GME IS&S (Information Systems & Services) for the process and IT system World Book
standard implementation in all new vehicle platform development programs.
GM internal Senior Consultants responsibility for Standardized Work in the European business based on the GM Global Product Development Process. Highest priority in this program was calendar time for implementation to support the new upcoming New Vehicle
Programs. The official feedback from my customer on my performance in this program was

Responsible for all regional system development in Sales, Service and Marketing together

Senior IT Manager position with a primary focus in my responsibility to implement a Siebel
based end-to-end system environment for the GM Europe Customer Relationship Management including Assistance Centers for customer, dealer, technology and marketing.

2000 - 2005 Saab Automobile AB/ General Motors Europe
PIO – Process Information Officer in M&Q - Manufacturing and Quality and GPSC - Global
Purchasing and Supply Shine),

Responsible for all Saab local IT systems for Manufacturing, Quality,
Purchasing and Supply Shine, together with usage of GM common systems in this business
areas.
End-to-end responsibility for all system development projects, minor enhancements and system operation including approx. 50 IT-systems (Saab local & GM common).
Approximate US$ 25M budget and with end-to-end 100 people working with me in the outsourced support model together with GM.
After my move from this position to the new GM assignment in 2007, the old position was

Process Management implementation in a business with a strong functional line organization.
Senior Internal Consultant responsibility working in a team with special assignments from
the Saab Leadership Team. This assignment was to establish a new Business Process Development team with common methodologies for Business Process Mapping and Business
Process Management implementation including all functional business areas. Strategic
program partly based on a Total Cycle Time methodology from Thomas Group, Inc. Examples on my deliverables was a 50% reduction in Total Cycle Time for the Saab Sourcing
Process owned by the Saab Purchasing Director.
1995 - 1997 General Motors International Organization
European Regional Manager in a GM team with responsibilities to develop and implement
the Global Product Development process (SMBP - Synchronies Math Based Process) also
including a new common CAD system implementation for GM globally (GM North America, Saab, ITDC-Opel, GM Brazil, GM Mexico, Holden and Isuzu). This was a migration
from multiple CAD systems to a common Unigraphics (today NX) based CAD environment supporting upcoming new global platform development programs.
My responsibility was to globally coordinate and manage the program implementations
outside GM North America. In scope for my responsibility was to manage the business requirements from the GM Development Centers in Germany, Sweden, Basil, Japan and Australia.
On request from the program leadership team I also managed the global migration including GM North America from the old internal CAD-system CGS to Unigraphics in cooperation with the Unigraphics w development team in Troy MI and Cypress CA.
This multinational program team was located at the GM Product Development HQ in Warren MI USA.

Business and System Development projects and programs in strategic cross functional
business areas.
Internal Consultant responsibility working in a team with special assignments from the
Saab Product Development Leadership Team. Example of strategic cross functional programs was to establish a new business model with supporting IT-system architectures for
the Product Development business in Program Planning & Management. This program
was based on the Artemis planning system IT architecture.

Responsible for all IT system operation, support and development in Product Development
including external partners.
Responsibility for my first group with multiple teams and external partners based on a
partly outsourced support model in cooperation with General Motors International Development Center.

Group Manager Engineering System operation and support, Product Development.´
Manager for a group with teams for Systems Supporting in a number of different engineering areas from Product Part Descriptions to CAEE (Computer Aided Electrical Engineering).
Systems based on HP1000, MicroVAX, VAX cluster, UNIX cluster and UNIX workstations.
End-to-end responsibility in Saab Product Development for internal system development
and system operation. Multiple teams and total 20 persons.
1987 - 1989 Saab Personbilsdivisionen
Team Manager CAEE (Computer Aided Electrical Engineering), Product Development.
Manager for a team with responsible for system operation and support. Primary for the
CAEE business area but also later including systems for Mobile Test and Test Data Load &
Analyses.
Responsibility for my first system engineering team in a line organization with 5 persons.
1985 - 1987 Saab Scania Group
Project Manager CAEE, Product Development.
IT project for the Saab Scania Group (Saab Scania, Saab Combitech, Saab Flygdivisionen
and Saab Personbilsdivisionen).
Initial Software Engineer for Saab Personbilsdivisionen and later responsible Project Manager. The project deliverables were primarily to develop a CAD system for cable harness
design based as the CADEL system from the Saab Flygdivisionen and in the project phase
2 also to develop a system environment for Computer Aided Electrical System Design also
including Manufacturing Engineering functionality.
Initial based on MicroVAX computers and Tektronix graphical terminals, and later a migration to workstations from Digital Equipment Inc.
This was a new strategic initiative from the Saab Scania Group executive leadership, and
one of the first common business development programs in the Saab Scania Group with
participation from all the divisions. The project team was located in Saab Flygdivisionen
Linköping and the project deliverables had a primary focus on the business needs for Saab
Personbilsdivisionen.
The program deliverables I managed was also later part of a presentation from Saab Personbilsdivisionen for Sweden's Industry Minister Tage G Pettersson.

Measurement Engineering, Product Development.

Support function within Emission Testing and Mobile Dynamic Vehicle Testing. Responsible for mobile measurement system installations in test cars. Programmer in data logging
and test data analyses with specially designed data loggers and mini computer programming (HP1000, PDP and MicroVAX)
The most exciting part of this job was to work together in close teams with the test engineers and the service personal preparing and performing really tough mobile test drives
and to be part of the team working with the test result analysis. Also the test result reporting to the System Engineers in new product programs was a really exiting assignment. I especially remember the new Saab 9000 (program X-29) and all road testing on the German
Autobahns and the winter climate North in Sweden.
1982 - 1983 Saab Personbilsdivisionen
Saab Trainee Program, Product Development.
Training program starting with different blue collar jobs in the factory areas Press, Paint
and General Assembly. A second phase included with white collar job programs in Marketing, Manufacturing and Product Development. All as a preparation for a first permanent assignment in Product Development.
This was a great introduction to the overall Saab Automobile AB global business establishing a real cross functional view on the business and a unique personal network in the company that was really useful for a long time in my upcoming assignments.
