Strong smell of antiseptic
White walls, white tile, recessed fluorescent lighting
Your own footfalls echoing against the silence of the
halls
Furtive glances from people in white coats through small
windows in the doors you pass
Cell phones, cameras, and any form of recording device or wireless
personal equipment are all confiscated by security.
Escorted to a large room containing a conference table, a big twoway mirror, and a small bathroom
Leslie McMann is the Trial Resource Coordinator, a very personable
and beautiful young woman who set up this meeting with all of the
subjects. She enters the room shortly, welcomes them to PrimaGen,
and shows them the coffee and assorted pastries found at the back
of the room.
She says that the interviews will begin shortly, and for them to
relax as they wait.

Smell of strong coffee
Aftertaste of fruity filing and syrupy-sweet treats
Incessant ticking of the oversized wall clock
Acrid, musty body odor of the homeless dude
An hour passes with no word
Leslie then bursts suddenly through the door, looking frightened
and a bit out of sorts (with a strand of her otherwise perfectly
coiffed hair hanging down into her face). She says that there has
been a minor security breach, and that they should sit tight until
the situation is rectified.
As she finishes speaking, the lights dim and a slow, red strobe
lights up. A pre-recorded voice booms from speakers in the
ceiling, saying “Security Breach – Lockdown in progress” three
times. Leslie looks startled, turns, and leaves
The room is locked, and the door feels very sturdy from first
inspection.
Within moments later, yells and gunshots can be heard some distance
away, further into the lab (pull for PTSD?)
Suddenly, a series of gunshots can be heard just outside the door.
It is followed by a gut-wrenching male scream, followed by a loud
crash as something heavy smashes into the other side of the 2-way
mirror, pushing it in towards the room in a web of cracks.
Door – very solid, locked. Unable to force with shoulder/kick. If
several people use the table as a ram, 2 pulls will open. Lock may
be picked by someone with a reasonable history for 2 pulls.
2-Way Mirror – Can be smashed with chair for 1 pull. Blood
splatters all over that person’s face when they do, and then the
upper torso of a body falls through into the room. Everyone must

people
 Filled with typical biomedical lab
equipment and supplies
 No written notes, several computers

If somebody knocks the
tower over prematurely,
this is one option you
can use. Have them get
separated from the
group and then be found
later, wounded and
unable to remember what
happened. They can
still participate in
the action, but can not
make further pulls from
the tower (and
therefore cannot
attempt anything that
might fail).
At a point of tension,
have them begin to
change into a werewolf,
and watch the fun!
Overturned and scattered chairs in the
waiting area, papers and odd personal effects scattered
around
The glass wall behind the reception desk is shattered
into pellets all over the room
Red strobe still flashing against dimmed lights
Voice recording continues to say “Security Breach –
Lockdown in progress” every few minutes
The entrance to the elevator that they all used to come to this
floor is now blocked by a featureless steel door that appears to
have dropped into place from the ceiling
No switch or release can be found anywhere
Leslie McCann lies in a heap among a mess of cubicle walls behind
the reception area. A pull is made to notice her quiet moaning
sounds. Pulls can be made to get her to wake up and respond,
giving the following information:

o
“Get me out! Get me out! Don’t let it get me!”
“Stupid! Stupid, arrogant bastards!”
“I didn’t get out? Oh my God… the gas. The gas!!!”
Her breathing becomes shallow and erratic. Answering questions
is clearly a drain on her, and continuing will certainly not be
good for her. If pressed, she seems to clear momentarily and
say, “The experiments… Suite 1830, that’s where you’ll find it.”
She looks into the eyes of the closest person, hands them her
badge, and says, “I’m so sorry…” and dies.
Pull to notice video camera, which moves to follow them as they
move through the room

Animal Testing



Constant, piercing screeches of various small lab
animals
Smell of animal poo, wet fur, and blood
Glimpses of twisted and grotesque animals in many of the
cages. Abominable genetic mash-ups of several different
animals.
With Leslie’s Badge:
 They follow signage in the halls to suite 1830. As they approach
it, they find a heavy metal door that is magnetically locked.
The door is dented in from the other side, but still secure. The
badge gets them in.
Without Leslie’s Badge:
 They come to the door as described above, but have no way of
getting in. While they try to figure it out, they make a pull to
hear heavy footfalls behind them. The sounds come from around
the corner, but appear to be coming closer.
 Roll with it
Inside the lab:
 In one lab, there is a huge, steel cage. It lock appears busted
and its door is swung completely open
 3 bodies lay broken, mauled, and partially eaten around the room
 (Pull) – find 2 large syringes lying near one of the bodies
 After a few minutes in the room, there is a noticeable increase
in the agitation level of the animals. A pull can detect
something moving out in the hall that is large and heavy. Loud
huffing can be heard, but it passes by or turns another way
without being seen.
Control Room



Banks of computer servers, workstations with overturned
rolling chairs
Constant humming of cooling fans
Buzz and click as the camera in the corner changed
position to watch them
o
o
The computer control room can be found by searching a using a few
pulls
Someone with significant computer skills can get the following
information for a number of pulls:
 Security – cameras and security are handled off-site and
maintained remotely.
 Gas – If a security breach is not contained within 6 hours, the
entire floor is flooded with a nerve gas
 Nature of research – genetic manipulation of specific animal
traits for applications within the medical, military, and private
sectors. 2nd pull gives indication that a recent human
breakthrough had been made and that 5 subjects were being brought
in to continue investigation.
A Survivor

A darkened room behind a locked door.
As they move through the halls, a pull makes them notice movement
from inside a darkened room.

and is barefooted.

Eventually, a security team will enter the complex. Their orders
are to secure at any cost, and they aren’t much for asking
questions. They will fire upon anyone or anything they see.
Andrea breaks and runs if they get close
Pulls can convince them to hold fire, but the characters will be
guarded closely by two of the security men
From a distance, they can then hear a firefight break out. Men
scream and crashes happen, and then suddenly everything goes quiet.
One of the guards will go out in a few minutes to check on things.
A scream is heard and his body comes crashing through the door.
Just behind is the hulking form of the werewolf.

“Gas Deployment in 10 minutes”
After the security force is eliminated, the pre-recorded voice
overhead booms, “Gas Deployment in 1 Hour”
Characters may plan and investigate ways to get out or stop the gas
The leader of the security force is carrying a pass card that can
open the door to the elevator is passed in front of it
The pass card can also be used in the control room to reset the
security status and stop the gas
At the elevator, Andrea Hall waits, dressed only in a bloody lab
coat. She wants to escape, too, and will assume her other form if
necessary.
