• Bones- the structure of the body and Skeletal System.
• Cartilage- a tough, rubbery connective tissue usually found in
the joints, ears, and the nose
• Ligament- a fibrous connective tissue that is usually found as a
reinforcement to the cartilage.
• Tendons- an inelastic band that attaches the muscle to the bone
• Vertebrae- the spine which protects the spinal cord
• Cranium- the skull
• Bones are the main part of the skeletal system.
• They contain something called bone marrow.
• Bone marrow is inside of the bone.
• The bone marrow is where the white blood cells are
“manufactured”.

• Cartilage can be found in many different places.
• Such as the ears nose and protecting the joints
• Ligaments are a connective tissue that protects the cartilage
• The Cranium is the skull
• Its holds and protects the brain.
• It’s the structure of our faces.
• The vertebrae is the spine.
• Its what protects the spinal cord
Fibula, tibia, femur- leg bones
Ulna, radius, and humerus – arm bones
Pelvis – hip
Clavicle – collar bone
• The human body has 206 bones
• The femur is the longest and strongest bone in the body
• The smallest bone in the body is the stirrup, located inside of the
ear.
• The Clavicle bone is the collar bone
