• As the tempter, Satan tries men in moral
combat, enticing them to evil.

strategy
• Cunning - denoting a military ploy

• Satan’s philosophy is to always promote an
alternative/counterfeit Kingdom

b. Promote an alternate path to God, which bypasses Jesus
c. Disguise the moral structure of God’s true intention

a. Pleasure
b. Possessions/Materialism
c. Positions

• Satan’s Limitations – HE IS NOT GOD!!
• a) He is not omnipotent. (All Powerful)
• b) He is not omniscient. (All Knowing)
• c) He is not omnipresent. (Everywhere)
• d) The Devil cannot bestow life, nor raise
anyone from the dead.
Realize that he has been conquered.
• (1 Jn. 3:8). “For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested, that he might destroy the works
of the devil”

• Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and
in the power of His might. 11 lPut on the whole
armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not
wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of 3the darkness of this age, against spiritual
hosts of wickedness in the heavenly
places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of
God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand. (Eph 6:10-13).
