Job Title: Executive Director of RamRide
Pay Rate: $12.30/hour
Openings: 1
Hours: T-F, normal business hours plus on-call some weekends (R-S, 10:00pm-3:00am)
Hours/Week: 25
Begin Date: June 1, 2015
Accountable to: Off-Campus Life Program Coordinator

Nightly Operations Position Description:
Position-Specific Job Duties
 Present periodic updates to ASCSU senate and Cabinet on RamRide’s growth and operations.
 With, or with support of/assistance from the Off-Campus Life Program Coordinator:
 Hire, train, and supervise all RamRide staff members.
 Hold regularly scheduled dialogues with each RamRide staff member.
 Share on-call responsibilities during nightly operations.
 Co-chair and coordinate the RamRide Advisory Board meetings.
 Facilitate weekly meetings and trainings with RamRide team.
 Assist with management of the RamRide budget.
 Actively seek greater sponsorship avenues.
 Develop and implement a strategic plan to obtain funding, food donors, volunteers, etc.
 Oversee the expansion of RamRide’s image, and continue to educate students about general operations,
volunteering opportunities, and its services.
 Oversee recruitment and tracking of individual volunteers and student organization contracts, and eligibility
of all volunteers.
 Oversee the planning and implementation of volunteer training.
 Oversee health, safety, and risk management strategies for RamRide volunteers and staff.
 Coordinate with CSU’s Transportation Services Motor Pool department regarding vehicle agreements, weekly
car checking/charges/return, and key pickup/return.
 Build and maintain relationships with various university departments such as, but not limited to, Parking
Services, CSUPD, Lory Student Center, Telecommunications, IT, Legal Counsel, etc., and non-university
departments such as, but not limited to, other safe-ride programs, Safe Ride Programs United Conference
affiliates, the Fort Collins community, etc.
 Be a positive representative of RamRide by following all policies and procedures, and maintaining a professional
image while on duty.
 Other duties as assigned by the Off-Campus Life Program Coordinator.
All Student Staff Responsibilities:
 Assist students who visit the RamRide office to ask questions about serving as a RamRide ambassador, sign
contracts, submit documentation, etc.
 Maintain a work area that is professional and conducive to an aesthetically pleasing office environment as well
as the work of other members of your department.
 Write an end-of-year Program Report that encompasses all work completed during your time in your position
including, but not limited to, program planning and post-event reports, important documents, emails, etc.
 Present a professional image of RamRide to CSU students, faculty, and staff, and Fort Collins community
members.
 Be a responsible steward of the RamRide Program student fee.

Minimum Qualifications:
 Be accepted for enrollment as a regular degree-seeking student at Colorado State University, carrying at least
one credit per term during the academic year.
 Currently have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.5.
 Be in good academic and disciplinary standing according to Colorado State University standards.
 Commit to working: June 1, 2015 – May 31, 2016
 Have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and your own reliable form of transportation.
 Ability to execute and follow safety procedures.
 Ability to effectively work late night/early morning hours.
 Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both individually and on a team.
 Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
 Crisis, emergency, or risk management experience.
 Practice exceptional organization skills on a daily basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
 A cumulative GPA of 3.0.
 Experience speaking in front of large groups of people.
 Experience handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
 Past experience working with RamRide.
 Past experience volunteering with RamRide.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, and at times, chaotic environment.
 Ability to take an initiative in completing tasks.
 Excellent customer service skills.
 Experience learning and utilizing new software systems.
 Previous supervision experience.
 Previous budget management experience.
 Previous facilitation experience.
 Experience in building and maintaining professional relationships.
 Experience with project management systems.
